Mixed media on box canvas with fully painted edges so no frame required.
Protected with polymer satin varnish. It is supplied ready to hang, fitted with ‘D’ rings and picture cord.
Signed on the back.

Old bibles end up in charity shops and are sold on for recycling.
I wanted to upcycle them sympathetically by integrating them into my work.
The canvas is covered in old torn bible pages before the image is painted on top and then sealed with a polymer varnish.
The second in this series of paintings.
